Why Verbs Are Important
Verbs are essential because they allow us to express actions, events, and states of being. They form the main part of the predicate in a sentence and are necessary to convey complete thoughts.
Without verbs, we would only have lists of nouns and adjectives without any indication of what is happening or what exists.
